Your hair is a pretty brown!! What a great color!!
Thanks for posting your pics, I feel like I am there. Your hair is already sooo much thicker. You look fabulous and beautiful! Keep up the good work!
I think I might join the castor oil challenge!

BTW- hope to catch you at the October hair seminar/meetup, whatever it is?
That sounds great! Is it the one in Detroit or is another planned. Detroit may be a little far for me.
Hey CCRobin- no the hair meetup is in Cleveland. I need to get the details. I'll post later!

You don't know how happy that made me feel. I've always felt like I had this horrible boring brown color. Thanks so much for the compliment!!! :-) Please join me in the Castor Oil Challenge. Even by looking at these pics again I can say that I can see a HUGE difference in my edges and back since using the castor oil. Maybe another inch and I'll BC!!!

it's unusual. once you are all natural and you see the sheen, you'll see what we mean. gorgeous! my daughter wants that color. (yes Ryl, she blames me 'cause she does't have it!)

Awww, thanks ladies!!! I am going to pay more attention to my color and really learn to appreciate what God has blessed me with.
@ RYL - I'm a chef and nutrition educator. I LOVE to cook. Maybe I'll do a whole recipe link in another section.

Month 5 - Oh yeah!!!!
I am officially in my 5th month of transitioning!!! After relaxing faithfully every 6-8 weeks of the last 18 years of my life I am amazed that I have been able to go this long and I have NO desire to relax again. My hair is healthier than it has ever been and I am very happy with it (with the exception of when the humidity kills my curls. ) I plan to post some pics of my hair using the Kimmytube mix and OSR twist and lock gel for hold tomorrow.

I DC once a week and my hair loves it!!! It was so damaged from the relaxers.

Thanks so much!!! I do like how these came out.
Re: Curly Chef Robin: Frohawk Pic
Ok, tomorrow is it! BC DAY!!!!! I am finally ready to get rid of these relaxed ends. Any suggestions on combating the dryness I keep hearing about?
