@jcanalena79, thanks lady! I do not know if it is more cleansing but I know it is a tea many naturals use. I can recommend green tea. I have used it previously.

While exercising today during lunch, I wore my wave cap. Why did I have a mark on my forehead afterward? Anyone have any suggestions on how to quickly remove marks like that? I was thinking about putting cold water on it, what do you think?

Love your twist! The only way I know to get rid of the mark from the cap is to rub that area for a few minutes to get the skin to get back to normal. Try a warm towel. Works for me with my scarves and satin bonnet.

All you need to do is massage the area and the mark should go away. If it doesn't leave quickly it could be a sign that you need more water and vitamin C (Water for hydration and the C for collagen production) in your life.

@npmoore, thanks for the compliment. Having a mark on my head going back to work was not cool. I didn't even check it after seeing it. My 'tude was whatever, I feel great! LOL

Hair today: I wore the mega bun again. Last night I spritzed it with my fenugreek tea. I added a few drops of EOs of tea tree, lavender and peppermint. I made sure to get my scalp. I applied my glycerin and aloe Vera gel mix all over. For moisture, I applied Qhemets detangling cocoa ghee to scalp and hair. My sealer was EVCO. This morning I sprayed tea, applied aloe and glycerin then sealed with castor oil. My head was itching today. This evening I had my husband check to see if my scalp looked dry. He said it looked fine. I will spritz my scalp and apply aloe/glycerin tonight and seal with castor oil. I plan to cleanse tomorrow using an applicator bottle to direct it onto my scalp. I will also DC.

Hmmm, I wonder if we are experiencing growth spurts. I do believe the notion that your scalp will itch when it is growing at a much faster rate than normal. I can get down with that (ooh, sounds so 70s--been watching The Jeffersons & Good Times), can y'all?

I cannot find my extra wave cap. I still put on my bonnet and hope for the best the next morning. Hair is still holding up. Today's bun is on the opposite side of my head. I am hopeful I can make it to May 1.

I plan to take a picture today showing the different sizes of my twists. Anyone have any suggestions on making them as close to the same size as possible, please share. TIA
