I noticed that quite a few of us curly beauties crochet. We are varying in skill and style. So this is the place where you can share patterns, instructions, tips, etc.

Thanks for sharing, I just pull a blanket out that I have been working on for at least 10 years (not kidding) that I need to finish.

I have several projects started I wanted to finish them for Christmas. We'll see how that works...lol.

I have several new rolls of yarn that I haven't even touched yet.

I've working on Christmas gifts for my co-workers (42 gifts) not crocheting, but sewing. I may post a video on Youtube. I think I've completed 20 so far.

Tia I have containers (yes with a 's') of Yarn and Cotton. I am currently working on some hats. a granny squar blanket for my dad, a baby blanket, and an afghan.

I love TJW as well. Her videos are so helpful for beginners. I made my son a scarf and now I'm working on a hat for myself. It started it for him but then I saw a pattern that I really wanted to try so daddy just bought him some hats until mommy can make him some lol. I hope to finish up with this hat this week. Im always starting and stopping to tend to other things but I can't wait to see how it turns out. I posted this in another thread but here is the scarf I made for my son

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I got off track with the edges so the colors started getting out of sync. I had started over at least 3 times so I just went with it lol. Any tips on how to keep the edges uniform ladies?

I had a TOTAL fail last night. I tried to do a snow flake and let's just say enough my husbands encouraging words did nothing. I had to laugh...I told him this is why all my projects turn into blankets. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

wow, you ladies are awesome. I'd like to learn to do this.
It would definately give me something to do while sitting in
the waiting room or when the weather outside is too cold to
venture out. I'd like to start with a scarf and go from there.

They sometimes have classes at your local craft store or community center.

I'm working on one of those now!

I haven't crocheted in ages, but this year I'm determined to learn to make a hat that won't squash my hair. I should probably start with a scarf, but I'm hard headed. I'm gonna check out TJW.

I've been carrying this bag of yarn to work everyday saying to myself I'm going to crochet during my lunch. Why do I just end up on CN forums instead???

so yeah operation infinity scarf is @ a standstill..all the yarn i have is 2 colorful and i cant find my crochet needle..guess ill have to go to walmart and i hate it there its all ways full of people

I'm not sure if you can see the true color. Its light blue and a denim ombre (goes from light to dark) I still have some more squares to add and do the edging.

This has went from the sitting in the car because I used to work on it on my break at work. Then to the couch then to the hope chest. I think I lost some square but I think it's big enough.

These are regular granny squares and a puff stitch granny square.

I like it.
