Henna or Bentonite??

Hi Everyone,

I've never used henna or bentonite clay on my hair, but I've read a bit about both. Has anyone tried both?? Was there a difference in how your hair responded?

I recently found out that one of the local (non-chain) health food stores sells both items, but I'm not sure where to start.

There's a lot of posts on this forum about other curlies' experience with Henna. I will actually be doing my first application tomorrow, so I'm excited! I can tell you how it went.

As for bentonite clay, I've read about but haven't tried it. What's it good for?

I don't mind experimenting. I could try it and let you know...

The betonite clay is more for clarifying. You would use it instead of using conditioner. The Henna is for conditioning and thickening of hair. Look at Henna as more of a color rinse without the chemicals. Also go to www.hennaforhair.com and read all about henna before purchasing. I also use betonite clay as a weekly facial and I put it on my feet to remove impurities so there are many uses for that also.
