henna and bentonite clay?

i love love love the way my hair feels after using bentonite clay, but after some extensive research, i am convinced that regular henna treatments will give my hair the added strength and thickness i've been longing for since i went natural. are there any henna heads out there who also incorporate bentonite clay into their regimen? more specifically, i'm wondering using the clay means i'll need to henna more often
