Thanks! It's not as soft as I'd like right now but I hear that's normal. Any suggestions for combating it?
Re: Curly Chef Robin: Frohawk Pic
Moisture, moisture, moisture.....My hair started to get soft and hold moisture better around the one month post BC. I was cowashing 2-3 times a week and deep conditioning weekly. Back then I didnt know about baggying....wish I did.

yea i agree with Lynnieluve^^^ I co wash daily and deep condition every Sunday..in the morning i refresh my flat! twa with my favorite moisturizer from Shea moisture the curl enhancing smoothie, then spritz my hair with water/glycerin mix..glycerin draws moisture from the air and never leave my twa dry..
oh yea and i stop using eco styler gel this week and switch to Curls Goddess curl..I LOOOVE it..its a natural gel like KCCC but only cost $8 and gives the same look eco and KCCC does..but it leaves my hair soft and doesn't dry out my hair

I feel better knowing it's normal and will change back. I've baggied every other night and I think it's helping. I just wish it was softer. It seemed to change all of a sudden.

Where did you get the Curls Goddess stuff? I've gotta try that glycerin.

Hi Curly Chef Robin you are rocking your TWA I loved the pictures from the wedding. I recently did my BC too an while I was a little shell shocked after it , I now feel so confident and I cannot keep my hands out of my hair . And like some others have said I think it's cool you are a chef too can't wait too hear more about that and get some recipies. I stay on food blogs and yelp.com lol ! I have wanted to be a chef for a while now but as a mom it's not that easy for me to get into rigth now but I'm still going to try one day ! So knowing that others are out there doing it serves as a great inspiration !

Thanks so much!!! Love you avi and hair!! You are beautiful! I haven't had a chance to check out the recipe section on here but I plan to so that I can post! I now own my own business because being in the kitchen was just too hard. The hours were horrible and I was missing my son grow up. I teach cooking classes and I'm a personal chef now and I love it!!!

Thank You for the compliment made my day ! I can definatley relate to what your saying about the hours in a kitchen that's one of reasons I have not worked in one yet , but I would one day like to do something food related maybe catering .I love the idea of having a schedule that does not put my mom duties on the back burner ! Thank you for sharing !

Cooking in very interesting and I love it. Just not the hours. Most careers in food put family on the back burner so you have to be SUPER creative, which is why I started my own business. Most people need people to cook during family times. Just be aware. However, follow your dreams and passions!!!
Thanks so much!!! I am!! The first couple days were "fake it til you make it" but now I am LOVING it!

Yup! I usually just wipe it out with my t-shirt towel if it's really bothering me. (oh I'm talking about KCCC)

Hi Robin...
So I missed the famous Big Chop!!! You did it and it looks GREAT!!! You will see a change in your curls in a month like Lynn said. I think you are doing a great job caring for your hair...and your curls are really popping!!
KCCC takes forever to dry. I saw a YouTube video where the makers of KC put a young lady under the dryer for 30 minutes. Her hair came out too cute!!
Congratulations and now the journey begins!!!
