KurlyKinkyQueen swears by them on youtube. The same way Nikki is addicted to henna. Has anyone tried them? What does it do for your hair? I just want more info on it. Post a link if you can.

I fell in love with clay after my first treatment. Hair feels clean, soft, and curls pop! That has been my experience (however, my curl pattern in some places is prone to loosening, so I experienced loosening and definition--go figure). You can use the clay as a 1) clarifier or 2) conditioning txt. If you use it to clarify, water or ACV is all you need to complete the mix. I add amla to prevent loosening. If you use it for conditioning purposes, just about any additive that is moisturizing goes. Some use coconut milk, honey, EVOO, yogurt, all sort of ingredients. I have only used it for clarifying purposes. I use clay for my face and hair. If you use this treatment just ensure you use a very good moisturizing conditioner afterwards and you will be fine. If you don't----dry hair city. To be honest, kaolin clay is the one recommended for normal to dry hair. But, many of us use Bentonite especially b/c it is easier to come by-- brick n mortar. A number of ppl use Rhassoul too, but to my knowledge, it pretty much has to be ordered online (Mountain Rose, Anita Grant, Amazon, etc.). You are lucky enough to have WF in St. Louis, if you want to try it. I do have a review here, just do a search.

These clays are rich with wonderful minerals that are good for our hair, such as silica and magnesium. Info all over the web, forum, and the above vendors.

I use the butter-n bars original conditioning hair masque and its first ingredient is Rhassoul clay..I loooove that stuff!! Ive been using it once a week religiously for about a month..it also has Australian Pink clay in it so when I apply it to my hair it turns it red!!

Thank you guys so much. I dont really like Whole Foods (I work at a competing store lol) but I will try it. I was more intrested in using the straight up clay not necesarily something with the clay. Any way. I have a while before I have to buy it. Im leaving these kinkytwist in until the end of March.
