Giovanni 50:50 Balanced Hydrating-Calming Conditioner
Giovanni Triple Tea Tree Shampoo
Trader Joe Nurish Spa Conditioner (detangle)
Kimmaytube Method of Leave-In (1oz Giovanni Direct leave-in, 2 tbls Aloe Vera Gel, 2 tsp Castor Oil,
2 tsp Jojoba Oil)
I use Afroveda Loc, Twist, and Roll Butter for the twist
Thats it... Hope that helps...
Re: Buttercup76 ~ Updating...
Winter months really take their toll on my hair... I shed really bad. I've notice over the last couple of weeks that if I just shake my hair with my hands I get shedding hair.... I'm totally not happy with that.... I had the same issue when I was relaxed, so this is nothing new. But it is hard to swallow when I detangle.... seems like a golf ball size of hair comes out... Come on Spring.... I miss u already....
Re: Buttercup76 ~ Updating...
Is it hair shedding or some kind of hair loss... I wonder... I washed, condish, and detangled last night after approx. 9 days of twist/twistout hair. I felt like my hair was just falling out... My hair is thick so you can't really tell once all is done however I was da** near shaking every time I went to finger detangle or follow up with my wide tooth comb. Last year I didn't have this problem because I didn't have much hair. It seems like with what I am seeing as far as shedding hair if I detangle weekly like I normally do then I will be bald by March... Go figure... Just my rant for the day... It must be the winter months...NOT A FAN...
Interview Hair
Hey everybody.... Hope all is well with the beautiful naturals on the Curl Street....
So I have a face to face interview on Wednesday. I am trying to relocate to GA with the company I work for and this interview is with the corporate office. It was "suggested" to me by my current co-worker that I should wear my hair straight... because I don't want to look too "ethic".... WT----F!!! (excuse my french)
Anyway that person got into my head and all weekend I have been trying to figure out how to wear my hair so that the focus would be on me and my talents instead of my hair... Currently I think I am going to go with a flat twist out because that style is the closest I get to some type of spiral set. Any thoughts or if any of you have had to interview recently let me know so tips..
Thanks and happy growing

My opinion is use a style that you would normallly wear to work. That way there is no surprise as to what they will see. Good luck!!
Update
So the last couple of months have been eventful, to say the least... I didn't get the job the I wanted so badly... I was ready to pack up and move for sure... Oh well things happen for a reason.... My now ex-boyfriend broke up with me the day before Thanksgiving, was totally not expecting that but we were trying to overcome a long distance relationship and he couldn't handle it... Again I say things happen for a reason... I am blessed and still in the land of the living so I will not complain but I can say that I am not the happiest camper at the moment... Time however does heal all wounds...
I am retaining length with my hair and slowly but surely trimming my colored ends... The only new products that I have tried are the Miss Jessie's Curly Buttercreme and Baby Buttercreme... The product does leave my hair very soft, slightly greasy (but that's ok)... I am just not sure how to maintain a style after day 1 with the product because my hair is so soft... I guess I will figure it out as I am determined to use all of the product before buying something else... LOL
I hope all is well on curl street and I will be posting a video I did on Youtube of my length check and a flat twist out style...
Happy New Year
