i'm sure you all know, but Sally's has their own version of mixed chicks, called mixed silk...i bought the leave in & DC for like 7.99 each (theyre on sale now for 5.99)...and Ecostyler has an Argan Oil Gel, and i ran out of clear so i picked that one up...i've only used it on old dry hair, but i like it so far...i paid $5, but sally's has it on sale for 2.99 now...if i continue to like them, i'll repurchase them all again before the sale is over.

i love it too! quick and easy detangling (even on dry hair) and its good for curl definition! idk how i went without it all this time lol...and it didnt rip my hair out like the D3 denman

after i took those pics i spritz my hair with kewra water (its like rosewater) & aloe and rubbed in some mixed silk and argan oil ecostyler...i didnt detangle

i'm so sick that i couldnt sleep...so i decided to twist my hair...i was getting kind of bored with my hair, but i dont wanna go back to my wigs just yet, and didnt want to straighten, so i decided to try some small twists for something different...i never thought i'd wear twists that werent atleast SL when shrunken, but i dont think they look that bad...







i spritzed an old dry WnG with aloe/water and detangled with the TT and used oyin hair dew and a little burnt sugar pomade on the ends...i didnt do any parts, i just grabbed and twisted.
i wanna try to keep them in until next weekend and then maybe do a twist out for a couple of days...if they start to get to frizzy i might pin them up or something.

if they hold up, this might be one of my staple styles for a minute...i wanna be like Chime/Haircrush one day!

thanks my scalp isnt showing but i think i might pin them up do to length (or lack thereof lol) do you do your twists on wet or dry hair?

Usually damp and then its hard for me to twist the back so I end up doing them to opposite sides so I have a huge gap in the middle lol Im gonna have to get it together lol

lol its hard for me to do the back too but the ones in the middle cover the imperfections in the back...i sectioned it into like 4 ponytails and then just pulled a twistable section out out for each twist as i went along...my hair was mostly dry besides the lil spritz i did...i would have less shrinkage if i blew my hair out 1st, but then i dont think they would stay together

i took my twists out on wednesday night, but i messed with it too much and it got frizzy and i didnt like it in the morning (no pics) so i wet it and put some aloe vera and burnt sugar pomade in it on thursday and wore it out but then put it up in a ponytail thurs night and today

ponytail w/ bangs...its my go to style when my hair is a mess but i dont have time to wash/cowash...i hope i have time to wash & dc my hair this weekend, but if not, this is how my hair will be until i can do something to it
