CurlsGalore: Back In Business! LOOOOTTTS of Updates! Pics for Days!

Thank you ladies! I'm so glad to have such awesome neighbors around me on Curl Street!

@ NPMoore: This week I'm just retwisting my hair nightly in large twists. I use my HE Hello Hydration/oil mixture/aloe vera gel mix as my leave-in. Then I just simply twist it in chunky twist all over and seal the ends with castor oil. Wash day was last Tuesday for me so I'm really trying to stretch to Wednesday or Thursday before I go back to my twist pinup.

Here is how I plat my hair before bed:







As you can see, they are not precise or clean as far as parting. But in the morning the fro is really nice and fluffy when I unravel them. I'll dab a little Bee Mine Hair Butter on each twist while I unravel.

That curly fro is the bizness!!! As for the shedding, I dont think it's from twist. Protective styles are always good but you know your hair better than I do.

Thank you Lynnie! I'm not sure what it is, but I'm thinking it's just normal everyday shedding. I don't have crazy clumps. As long as the white bulb is there, I'm good.

Good morning chicas!

Well, I've stretched my twistout to day 4! I know I need to go back and retwist again, but I just can't seem to do it! My hair has some "act right" and I'm loving it!

When I platted my hair last night, I did something a little different. I normally just part a section and start twisting not starting as close to the scalp as I should. So yesterday I tried it to eliminate puffy roots. I spritzed my hair with my moisture mix, dabbed a little leave-in mix on the strands, and started twisting my hair from the scalp down.

I know this is a method many of the twisting gurus have been doing, but I'm just learning and applying easier ways of styling my hair. Needless, to say, I woke up this morning and unraveled my hair with my Bee Mine Hair Butter. All I can say is "Wow!" It looked like a fresh day 1 twistout. What a difference twisting from the roots makes...thanks, Nikki!











Usually by Day 4, by hair is in a puff. This is impressive!
