Possibly Protein Sensitive???

Every single time I do a egg treatment or any kind of protein treatment...My hair get so tough and rough and stiff for a few days...It just does not feel right at all....Am I protein sensitive or I am doing something wrong...

Yes...but it still makes it dry an my hair feels like hay(lol) for a few days after for some reason... Idk what could be wrong...

you could be protein sensitive...and since you henna, you probably don't need that much protein anyway. Try cutting out the protein treatments (and other protein containing products) and watch the health of your hair for a few weeks...if the dry, stiffies, are gone, you'll know that protein, especially the harsher treatments, is a no-no.

Do you have coarse hair like I do? When I use any type of protein in my hair, it becomes straw like and stiff. I found this article really helpful:
