STARTING ALL OVER AGAIN

Well after 9 months natural , I relasped and relaxed my hair, cut short and styled. I don't know why, I think it was not being able to detangle my 4c hair. And boredom, not knowing how to do different styles. I regret it since, I was so angry at myself 2 weeks after going to the salon, I took my scissors and starting cutting ! I never realized how beautiful my natural hair was, till I lost it. Now that I have B.Cd. I am starting all over again. I still have perm in my hair, because I didn't wait for any new growth before I chopped !!! But I feel a lot better .I have to go to the barber to get it shaped up, since I did it myself and didn't know what I was doing, but I was desperate ! please send me some love and encouragement.

It's always better the 2nd time around my dear. If you haven't already, add this site, a few you tube naturals (i.e. FreeWorshipFreeWors and Kimmaytube) and fotki journal of lynnieluve - she's on this site too. Add these resources to your arsenal - refer to them daily for inspiration and motivation. To some degree, we have all reached that "blah" stage. So now that you have learned that it was only a phase, you're better equipped to push through the frustration with flying colors, if it comes around your way this time. It's hair and it will definitely grow back. It's so forgiving in that way
