Hello Ladies,

I have been natural for close to ten months now, and I still have not found a regimen. I have all kind of products, however I'm not sure I am using the right amounts. Please share with me how much of a product to use. Like what is the amount I need to seal in my moisturizer. How much How much How much ??????? LOl.

Hi Mel B,

Welcome, and fret not. I think the key is to start with a dime size portion for an inch section. If the hair does not feel coated or like seaweed with the moisturizer/leave in conditioner (water- or aloe-based), add another dime's worth. For sealing, I suggest a nickel size and focus on the ends of your hair. If your hair is uneven like mine, ensure you are getting the longer ends and shorter ends. HTH

Mel B - it doesn't sound crazy. Thanks for asking the question because I thought it was just me!!! ChrsLvsBks's recommendation sounds like the formula I've been looking for. Thanks ChrsLvsBks. I'm going to try it also.

Hello, how are you and your hair? Have you found a regimen that works for your hair?
