Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE
Nice nails Lynnie!!! I've been trying designs myself. My daughter and I (She just turned 16 today WOW), got some new nail polish. I just can't figure out how to post those pics and still keep my profile pic in. Any help????

Ok, so I've been lurking around here, too! I'm loving these nails! I've been wanting to step up my manicure game, but I want to do my own nails. After skimming this thread, I'm inspired! I've never been a fan of acrylics anyway, so this challenge will be easy. I'm going to play, too! Keep it coming ladies!!!
Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE

Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE
I picked up the Irre-Swiss-Able OPI mini nail set yesterday. This is Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous. I am going to try to do my best to continue to use the Sally Hensen's Miracle Cure. I really want my thumb, pointer and middle fingers to retain a decent length.

Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE
changed my nails today, but first here's my naked nails:

that's my left hand, which looks pretty awesome. My right (not pictured obviously) is a completely different story.
and because I want to be like Chrs when I grow up, my new mani is OPI, Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous, from the Swiss collection.
Excuse the lack of cleanup I did polished my nails this morning as I was eating breakfast

Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE
The Walgreens in my area had the china glaze polishes for $1.99. I picked up a couple of cute colors.

Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE
Let me up my game and start doing my own nails. You all have inspired me. But i could never do my right hand without making a mess. Any pointers, tips or tricks. When I go to the salon - I look at the final product and say to myself I could have saved myself $20 for this crap of a job they did.
Also what base and top coats do you ladies suggest? I'm visint ULTA over the weekend and would like to pickup some OPI polish.

Yay! Join us!
I'm using two Zoya base coats at the moment, a ridge filler and the regular one called Anchor. I don't like their top coat, so I use Seche Vite. It's the bomb! On my last Ulta trip I picked up CND stickey (base coat) and air dry (quick dry top coat) to test out.
I paint sloppily but usually do cleanup with a q-tip (the ones with the pointy end), or an orange wood stick with a bit of cotton wrapped around an orange wood stick. Here's a helpful vid on the orange wood stick method.

Re: NATURAL NAIL CHALLENGE
Hey Ladies !!
So check this out , I have not been posting because [/b] ALL[/b] of my nails broke off and I just got frustrated because I worked really hard to get them as long as they got . Now they are all super short , so I just was not inspired to do my nails anymore and plus we are getting ready to move back to the states and I know If try to grow them back out , in transit I will probably break them again.
Needless to say I don't think that perfect formula nail strengthener worked at all !! it didn't make my nails stronger at all. I don't know if my body was going through something , but soon as the first one broke then the rest of them started one right after the other .
But hopefully I will get back on track and get it together ! lol
Everyone's nails look fabulous and welcome to our new challengers !! glad to have you !!!
