@Nubie...I want to wait and see how the shedding will be before I officially loc it up! This go round we are going to find out the sex of the baby so yes you will know. I wanted to wait long enough that we would almost definitely be able to find out the sex UNLESS baby is stubborn so you will know soon enough.

Yes indeed. I know there's nothing I can do to stop it completely but I'm hoping that by doing more ayurvedic treatments before, during, and after the shedding I will be able to help it be less noticeable. I would have hated to start my locs last month and then come July my locs started to fall out lol. That would not be a good look so I'll just wait. By then I'll have even more length so I can be patient.

It is my understanding that Nikole Crowe aka TheMopTopMaven is really ill at this time. I check her website almost daily for new posts and there have been none for nearly three weeks. In one of lasts post she talked about having been sick recently but was doing better.

A poster who ordered some jewelry from Nikoles line apparently spoke with Nikoles mom via email inquiring about why she had yet to receive it and was told that Nikole was ill. Another says that she was told via email by Nikoles mom that she is in the hospital. I think it would be wonderful if all who read this could just say a prayer for our fellow curly Nikole.

Hey AL! Thanks for posting this! I have been wondering what happened to her. I check every day and just yesterday did a search on google to see if I missed something. Very sorry to hear that but she is definitely in my prayers!

Thanks for sharing this because I wondered what happened to her. I hope that all is well with her that she is back on her feet soon.

Just wanted to say that Nikole IS actually in the hospital...I placed an order during her after Christmas sale & received an email from her mother confirming that she is dealing with a very serious illness...I'm sure she & her family would appreciate our continuous prayers...
