Re: Life of a Curly GIRL :)
How long does it take you to wash and DC? I did my wash and DC last night and maybe because I was being lazy but it rolled over into this morning. I let my DC sit in over night LOL

If I wash and DC in the shower about 20 minutes to shampoo and detangle and put the condish on and leave it. I like to have some music or the tv in the background so I dont pay attention to the length of time too much. But girl, I already know after detangling and rinsing the condish out, Im going to have at least another hour moisturizing and plaiting

Hey Tiffany! Glad you're achieving good results with P90X! I have the dvds but never did get all of the equipment. Someone gave me the Insanity workouts and I am thinking about jumping on it tonight if not to tired. Idk why people are always donating workouts to me. Hhhmm... Have you noticed increases in energy levels? How often do you wash, etc doing it?

Heya For P90x I only have weights, I dont do the pull up bars lol...but I hear insanity is a great workout its REALLY intense, definitely keep me posted on that!! I have noticed increased levels of energy, flexibility, and overall body changes. I dont sweat alot in my head/hair so I wash my hair once a week still.

Re: Life of a Curly GIRL :)
I have no set time. I do so much with my hair. Sometimes I pre-poo,co-wash, hot oil treatment then DC. This is not including the ACV Rinse and Tea Rinse. On my lazy days I start the night before by soaking my hair in my oils and do an updo for the day and finish off at home the next day will co-wash & Cond. This itself is a Journey LOL

I like the soaking hair with oils idea...how exactly do you do that?

Re: Life of a Curly GIRL :)
Hubby and I went to Target last night...now yall, I have this fixation with target now that they sell all my fav natural hair products lol...so I went ahead and bought the shea moisture retention shampoo and tried it out last night. I washed with it, then conditioned and detangled with my YTC condish, and I used my kimmaytube leave in recipe and curl enhancing smoothie for my 15 plaits...Im taking the plaits out tonight..hopefully I get an awesome braidout...
My Review of Shea Moisture Retention Shampoo:
I love the Shampoo, it didnt dry my hair out at all, and Im pretty sure thats because it doesnt have any sulfates in it. All of the shea moisture products seem to smell wonderful which is also a plus for me. The consistency of the shampoo made it really easy for me to distribute. What I have noticed is that now that my hair is longer I end up using more shampoo on my actual hair instead of my scalp, so I think I need to invest in one of those bottles with the spout so that I can apply the shampoo to the scalp (and dilute it a little with some water), that may help with distributing it better on my scalp.
Im also going to switch up my leave in recipe mixture, I was using Giovanni Direct Leave In for it, but I believe Im going to change it up to what Kimmaytube uses and actually try the Knot Today (once again, thanks target)....so Im going to try the new recipe next week because Im running out of giovanni direct.
Have a great weekend lovelies!

Non Hair Related....
Yall, I had a serious case of the mondays yesterday!! But alas, today is tuesday!!! Ive been doing alot of praying lately, I truly am thankful to God for what Hes done in my life and how Hes blessed my friends and family. A little backstory on me, Im an only child and am a typical piscean woman. So over these past few months Ive noticed that God has revealed how some "friends" were meant to be seasonal in my life. I thought for SURE some of these women would be life long friends but Im noticing thats not the case. Growing up, as an only child I always wanted to have lots of friends, and as I recently turned 29 and have looked at how Ive matured Im realizing quality is way more important thatn quantity when it comes to friends and matters of the heart. Im so thankful for Gods insight and revelation.
I thought Id share that with yall
Oh also, check this fellow naturalista outNgoziLady. She sells some awesome jewelry and its not expensive at all. I ordered two pairs of earrings and I cant wait to get them She has a beautiful spirit! Support her if you can...

Beautiful expressed. I too have experienced that desire to have multiple friends. In the end I look around and see that my friends are all gone or at least didn't last long.
