Too tightly coiled Empty Too tightly coiled

So, my hair today is curled more tightly than is my preference. I washed last night and used my SheaMoisture curl smoothie. I sealed with my shea mix. The twists looked pretty good last night but when I took them down this morning the curls were SO TIGHT! So, now I'm going to retwist tonight in hopes they'll loosen up. I wonder if I should wash and start over. Dunno. Too tightly coiled Icon_scratch

When you do your twists do you do them on wet or dry/damp hair? If you aren't already I suggest doing them on dry or mostly dry streched hair, then the girls won't be as tight Smile
