Ok so I joined the twist challenge and Poetickly said something that stuck with me. Thank you Poet, because of your question I am definitely going to make sure I stick to this challenge. Therefore, in light of how we support each other, today's pic is for Poet. Wearing your hair in twist takes nothing away from your professional look.

Today Sasha is 8 months old! Although she is still a baby she is growing up nicely. I am proud of her, I know I envy the beautiful twists I see in the neighborhood, but I am pleased with Sasha, shrinkage and all! I was thinking it was this time last year that I was struggling with should I do it? Can I do it? Will I be able to manage it? During my short (very short) transition I survived with Twist sets (we call them flat twist) and roller sets. My stylist begged me for years to stop getting a perm. She always said "your hair is CURLY GAYE you don't need it!" I think of KNH and my 100 day hair Sweetdrk1 says Sasha turns 11 - Page 2 Lol

even permed, my roller sets would last forever!!! So Sasha was having her way even with the creamy crack!!

Hair today! The twist are doing good, I did what you suggested BBD and tied them down. This morning I just spritz for moisture and went on my way! Have a great day!

Hey BBD they are doing good I tied them down like you said, it worked like a charm. I will try the pins to see if how that works to keep the length. Do you let it dry naturally with the pins in?

I was skeptical about doing the twists challenge because of my job and all, but I love them. I can't complain, so easy. I've gotten nothing but compliments on them in the workplace.

Good Morning Sweet and Congrats on your 8 months anniversary!!! Today is my 1 month anniversary!!!! Go us!!!!! lol. Your twists look really good and I love your avi, but I can imagine your allergies pretty much smacking you for that one! Mine have been acting up all month, for whatever reason, mold has been deciding to be in tens of thousands for no good reason lol. Oh well Have a great day!
