Boyfriend's Loc Touch Up!!

Hey guys,

Just thought that I would show you all my boyfriends
locs. He's had them for a little over a year and I love them. I touch
them up about once a month. I'm going to start caring for his hair as I
do mine. His hair regimen will be fierce!!! LOL

I started my husband's when we were dating and still maintain them today. I switched from palm rolling to interlocking. I like that because they hold without clipping and dryer time.

About how long do the touch-ups take you?

I started my hubbys locs about 6 months ago and they are coming along quite nicely. I'm still doing the twisting but wanted to try interlocking. I bought the little tool over a month ago and have yet to use it. Tia is there a video you would recommend that shows how to do it?

I find it interesting that so many r dating or married to those with locs. My boyfriend has locs too. He's one of the people that encouraged me to go natural. :-)

@AL, I wish I knew about a tool you could buy-we ended up making one. That was a few months ago and it's been working great so we are sticking with it. I learned from this vid:


There are quite a few of them on there, some under "interlocking" others under "latchhook"

@tiashauntee thank you so much for the video, I am switching between palm rolling and twisting (especially for the back- its a little shorter). I will have to research interlocking cause all those clips really get on my nerves! LOL

Thanks Mentor. I kind of take pride in his locs, now if I can only find that same pride in my hair! I am on my way though!
