Re: Frizzy ends O_O
Meep.....I think we've cracked the case
Your hair has transformed and now has low porosity....which is great for a few reasons:
a. whatever you have been doing to move from being overly porous is working
b. your hair is stronger and can stand more manipulation
The downside is:
a. You have to move away from the proteins and implement more emollients and humectants into your regimen.
b. Your Product Junkyism may flare up as you try new things (ok, maybe thats just me)
I'm in the process of doing all this now, which is why I feel your frustration. Check out www.livecurlylivefree.com for information on things to put (and not put) in your hair.
I'd try only doing a monthly protein treatment and making your everyday products protein free (DC's, Shampoos, Stylers, etc). Some ingredients that indicate protein are: wheat germ, silk, keratin, avocado, egg, anything that says hydrolized (not sure of spelling). Also, it might be helpful to start doing pre-poos with EVOO and honey, and DC weekly.
I was determined to help you...LOL. HTH!
