Dare I say?
I have established a regimen that works for me
haha after spending hours trying everything I see on this site, I have found what works for ME, that's whats most important right?
le régime:
Wash hair in 6 sections with whatever shampoo I can get my hands on (after each section, put it back in the ponytail)
Condition each of the 6 sections with Yes to Cucumbers or Suave Almond and Shea butter
SN: I used to think the Suave Almond and Shea butter didn't work for me (my hair always matted) but after using it in sections it made my hair sooooo soft! Go figure
Let it air dry and...
If I want it wavy/curly:
I start on dry hair and section
Wet a section with a spray bottle of water and conditioner
Apply EVOO
Apply eco styler olive oil gel
Two strand twist that section and secure it with a roller (I'm still transitioning)
Start on the next section
I am SO glad I've found what works for me. I've realized that it's not so much the PRODUCTS its the WAY I apply them.

that's good though....i'm just starting to find out what's working for me, though it'll be a while before I nail down any kind of routine. I'm still tryin to learn how to braid, smh lol

@NewlyNaturelle-my go to style right now are the bantu knots and when all else fails I pull my hair up into a bun. The braids are not really working for me right now since I am still transitioning and working with a lot of relaxed ends. I want to BC but think that I want to keep the length.

Re: Dare I say?
yeah, it's a little difficult to nail something down because I'm usually weaved up. I'm just workin with my own hair now, so I just got used to shampooing and detangling...we'll see if I can use braidouts as my go-to or not once I take this braidout lol I know if I knew how to do flat braids, styling wouldnt be an issue, but hey...one step at a time lol
