I like Giovanni Direct Leave in and Kinky Curly Knot today. If you are into mixing your own stuff, check out this video.

Re: Leave in conditioners
I use Giovanni Direct too. I like it okay, but I want to be in love with a leave-in. I also would prefer to buy from a small AA owned company, so I'm still looking. I've heard lots of good things about Darcy's Botanicals Leave-in, Oyin Honey Hemp Conditioner and Jane Carter's Leave-In. All three are on my list to try. Maybe users will chime in on what they think.
Re: Leave in conditioners
Cantu shea leave-in is really good and so far for me KK Knot today is the best.

Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion is the best stuff on the Planet! I swear by it and use everyday(when I don't have my braids in)
Re: Leave in conditioners
I've since tried Darcy's Daily Leave-In. I love it. I've also been using Giovanni Direct now for 6 months and it's bumped up to a love it. My hair loves it.
Re: Leave in conditioners
A mix of aloe vera gel/juice & distilled water--1.5 parts aloe vera and one part water. It is very moisturizing. It can also be used as a refresher.

I was actually thinking about trying this as a leave in. Knot Today is my best leave in but I want to find an alternative when I don't feel like spending too much money. Do you add oil to the mix as well?

I add essential oils of peppermint, tea tree, rosehip & rosemary.Curly Film Chick wrote:ChrsLvsBks wrote:A mix of aloe vera gel/juice & distilled water--1.5 parts aloe vera and one part water. It is very moisturizing. It can also be used as a refresher.

Thanks, I think I'm going to add tea tree since my scalp in particular loves it.

Right now, I like Darcy's Botanicals Coconut Lemongrass Transition Creme.

Re: Leave in conditioners
The best I've found to date is Roux Fermodyl 619 Regular Strength Leave-in. I'm currently using Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave-in and it's pretty good. I also use Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie as a leave-in because of its awesome moisturizing effects. Another goodie is Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier.

I have heard great things about this conditioner. Does it have great slip? Is it only available online?Sebastain13 wrote:I have just started to use the oyin honeyhemp conditioner I love it

Re: Leave in conditioners
I know you were asking makeupvixen but I thought I would chime in. Curl Junkie is one of my favorite product lines. They are rich and creamy just what my hair likes. If you have specific questions about the line, please feel free to ask me here or on my Curl Street Journal page. I have used many of the line's products.Emartini04 wrote:makeupvixen wrote:I use Curl Junkie Beauti Curls or my KBB Hair Milk
